We don’t get weather here very often. Besides super hot season and semi cold/fog season. So when we get a storm the whole area freaks out a but and we all just watch the storm.
We even had lighting, thunder and hail! It’s was all over within 45 minutes but it left everything nice and clean…. I wish it happened once a month!

It is unbelievable dry already. I am having areally hard time getting used to it. A year ago we were living by the beach and had more water then we needed…
First dust storm of the year, today!
Burning weeds, and hopefully, their seeds.
So we grow succulents, I have to grow something! And they are pretty awesome.
Morning walk with Oma (my mom)
The coolest plant I own.

My strength is being tested again. I have to go back to court next month, despite the fact that I have a LIFE-LONG restraining order against him, some how he still had rights as a father. My heart hurts. I have to keep this sweet boy safe, the courts saw this that last round, let’s hope the court here does too.
This boy of mine is magic, I swear. I wish I could see everything the way he does. Everything is exciting and he is so kind and innocent…. I hope and pray that I can help him stay that way as long as possible.
I am on the left, he is on the right

She finally bloomed!!! I have never been so proud of a flower in all my life. Sigh. It’s was the perfect day for it too, I needed an extra smile!
I’m happy about this one too, but it already had the buds on it when I bought it so I can’t take credit for this round, so pretty though!
I went or with my sister Emily on Friday night, it happens so rarely, haha. The Pathos foot is mine.
And last but definitely not least, we did our first big kid puzzle tonight. He told me he is a big boy now, and he is right 🙂

The lambs are doing well I could sit and watch them for an hour…. the little one in front (above) is the one I bottle fed for several days. He had a twin brother that didn’t make it but this little guy had such a will to live! All the others (10 lambs in all) are doing well including orphan twins. Our while family keeps an eye out for them.
A Jaxon selfie. Those eyes! That is such a mischievous look, and time he gets to touch my phone he things he is getting away with something, haha. He has become quite the phone thief!
It’s almost open! My first large Lothop is about to flower and I am pretty excited. Apparently it’s super easy to kill the guys.
And I forget this beautiful plant’s name but it’s happy and giving me flowers too, I love it!

Coffee in my faithful ship mug, tiny roses from my mom’s house and a tiny glass bottle that reminds me of my Aunt Heidi (lover of small vases and spring flowers).
Me: “Hi Cassidy, you have amazing, white eye lashes, think I could get a photo of them?” Casidy: “nope, but hereare my wiskers, much more impressive!”. Stinkin Cassidy.
We got stuck behind this train tonight. It went by, stopped for a while, and backed up… some valley thing never change! Haha!
I can’t get enough of this kid lately. He had started watching Harry Potter (he loves “spooky” things), this week so we have both been humming the theme song…
And finally, two years ago, at the playground I played in as a child, it was so sweet to me that he got to enjoy it too. It was built when I was 4!

The problematic garden on the south (full sun almost all day) side of my house. This was a few days ago, I added house manure and grass clippings to the soil and let it sit for a few days.
Today I found some flowers that are supposed to be “drought tolerant”, so we will see how they do!Â
Since these are our March temperatures I will definitely need some heat/low water being plants….
My favorite photo of the day, e were eating sugar snap peas, jax only likes to take the peas out. My little ghostly pea thief 💚. Only for photos today, I’m a slacker, haha.
